Biography Arthur G. Holmes, a graduate of Coronado High School, attended Stanford University from 1926 to 1928, where he was a member of the Glee Club and participated in YMCA activities. He also attended UC Berkeley and was a member of Theta Kappa Nu Fraternity there. He pursued a career with the National Park Service, becoming the first permanent ranger at Lassen Volcanic National Park. He died on January 1, 1997. From the guide...
